CHICAGO – Chicago State University will host the 2010 Great West Conference Volleyball Tournament this weekend at the Emil and Patricia Jones Convocation Center.
The Cougars will play Friday night in the third quarterfinal match of the day as the tournament's seventh seed and will battle second seed Utah Valley at 7 p.m.
The other quarterfinal matchups for Friday are fourth seed Houston Baptist against fifth seed Texas-Pan American at 2 p.m., and third seed South Dakota faces sixth seed NJIT at 4:30 p.m.
Defending conference champion North Dakota earned a first-round bye and will face the HBU/UTPA winner in the first semifinal on Saturday at 2 p.m. The winners on the opposite side of the bracket will face off in the second semifinal at 4:30 p.m.
The championship match will be held Sunday afternoon at 12 p.m.
