CHICAGO – Chicago State women's golf fell to host Loyola in a dual match Monday afternoon at the Bryn Mahr Country Club in Lincolnwood, Ill. The Ramblers produced a team score of 323, while the Cougars tallied a team score of 343.
Junior Meghan Olsen (Fresno, CA/Fresno City College) (Fresno, Calif.) and senior Fiona Wan (Richmond, BC/Richmond HS) (Richmond, B.C.) each shot a 13-over-par 83 to pace CSU.
Senior Stefanie Kohr (Trier, Germany) shot a 15-over-par 87, junior Esther Lee (Irvine, CA/Santiago Canyon College) (Irvine, Calif.) posted a 16-over-par 88 and freshman Brittany Johnson (Golden, Colo./Golden) (Golden, Colo.) rounded out the scoring for the Cougars by shooting a 20-over-par 92.
Loyola's Katie Miller led all golfers with a three-over-par 75 to claim medalist honors.
CSU is back in action on Sept. 29-30 at the IPFW Invitational, held at the Chestnut Hills Country Club in Ft. Wayne, Ind.
