Julie Hall joined the Cougars on September 1, 2022, as the Associate AD for Student Services and Academics and was promoted to Deputy Athletic Director in May 2023. In this elevated role, she led key internal functions, including compliance, athletic training, strength and conditioning, and departmental human resources, while also serving as the department's Senior Woman Administrator.

In December 2024, Hall was tapped to lead the department’s external operations, assuming responsibility for  development, sponsorships, ticket sales, licensing, marketing, and athletic communications— a reflection of her ability to drive visibility, engagement, and revenue. She also provides sport oversight for men’s and women’s soccer, tennis, golf, and women’s basketball, reinforcing her strategic role in program development and performance.

With over three decades of experience in higher education across athletics, student affairs, academic support, and advancement, Hall is a proven leader who brings both vision and execution to the Cougars’ senior team.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Master of Public Administration from California State University, East Bay, and competed in basketball and volleyball at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and Cal State East Bay.
