Jasper Fell joined Chicago State University after serving as the Associate Athletic Director for External Operations at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In that role, he oversaw marketing, communications, sponsorships, and fan engagement initiatives for the department. As a member of the senior leadership team, Fell served as the sport administrator for men’s and women’s bowling, softball, women’s hockey, men’s rugby, and men’s and women’s golf.
During his tenure at Aquinas, Fell was responsible for managing all external aspects of home athletic events including marketing, media, livestream production, fan experience, and special initiatives such as the Divine Nine Celebration and Blackout Cancer fundraiser. Within six months, he secured and activated over $50,000 in new sponsorships with organizations such as Chick-fil-A, Jet’s Pizza, and the Grand Rapids Gold, strengthening local business partnerships and enhancing in-game experiences.
Before his time at Aquinas, Fell served at Voorhees University in South Carolina, where he worked in alumni relations and development. There, he led initiatives that increased alumni engagement and annual fundraising each year, including Alumni Hall of Fame, Giving Tuesday campaigns, and faculty and staff giving programs. He helped raise over $325,000 through multi-channel fundraising efforts. Jasper also played a key role in launching the university’s first-ever Sports Hall of Fame, serving on the inaugural Hall of Fame Committee
Fell’s earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Director of Ticket Operations and Customer Relations at the University of Memphis, where he managed ticket sales, donor relations, and revenue growth. Since beginning his athletics career in 2016, he has held positions at the University of Texas Permian Basin, Sam Houston State University, Lamar University, and Prairie View A&M University playing key roles in driving ticket sales, enhancing fan attendance, and developing successful sales and marketing initiatives.
A South Carolina native, Fell earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Recreation from Voorhees University, where he was a four-time NAIA national qualifier and school record holder in the 60-meter and 110-meter hurdles as a member of the men’s track and field team. He went on to earn a Master of Psychology in Counseling from Alabama A&M University, where he also served as a graduate assistant in the athletics department.
In 2023, Fell earned a Certificate in Principles and Techniques of Fundraising from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University. He is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
