Bobby Blizzard enters his first season at Chicago State as Offensive Coordinator, bringing more than 13 years of collegiate and professional coaching experience. A former NFL tight end, Blizzard most recently served as Offensive Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach at Hampton University, where he directed one of the FCS's top offenses in 2024. His coaching career includes stops at Hampton, Belhaven University, the Dallas Renegades (XFL), Memphis Express (AAF) and McMurry University. Throughout his career, Blizzard has developed numerous All-Americans, all-conference performers and NFL players while coordinating nationally ranked offenses. As a player, he spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals, Baltimore Ravens, Arizona Cardinals and NFL Europe after a collegiate career at the University of North Carolina. He earned his bachelor's degree in Sociology from North Carolina and is a graduate of the NCAA NFL Coaches Academy.
