Briyahna DesRosiers was named assistant coach for track & field and cross country on August 16, 2022. She is a nine-time NCAA Division I All-American in the 400m and various relays, splitting her college running career between Texas A&M and the University of Oregon. 

DesRosiers joins Chicago State after two seasons as an assistant coach at Benedictine University in Lisle where she assisted her former high school head coach with a focus on long sprinters (100m, 200m 400m and relays). 

She competed for North Lawndale College Prep High School in the Chicago Public League and holds PRs of 23.07 in the 200m dash and 51.52 in the 400m dash.
