• 2013-14 CSU Scholar Athlete• 2013 Chi-Town Classic Individual Champion2014-15: Started the fall season off with a good showing at the Green Bay Invitational with a 3rd place finish thanks to a total of 232 (73-79-80)(Sept. 7-9)...Came tied for 9th at Loyola Fall Invitational (Sept. 22-23)...And another top 10 finish at the CSU Cougar Classic placing 3rd (Oct. 6-7)
2013-14: compiled a season average of 80.44 over 27 rounds and 14 events...started the season with a win at the Chi-Town Classic (Sept. 2) (78) and two top five finishes at the Green Bay Shootout (Sept. 8) (87) and with a 155 (77-78) at the Green Bay Invitational (Sept. 9-10)…finished the fall season with a top 15 (T-15) at the Dayton Fall Invitational (Oct. 21-22)....shot a 77 in the weather shortened Butler Spring Tournament to finish seventh among 53 golfers (March 24)...tied for eighth of 90 entrants at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational with a 157 (77-80) (April 12-13)...shot a 230 (77-75-78) at the PGA Minority Championship (May 9-11).
Personal: Had average score of 80.3 during sophomore year...posted average score of 79.8 during junior year...had average score of 78.4 senior year...honorific mention in 2012 Model of United Nations...academic exellence during sophomore year...daughter of Emilio Valdes and Luara Solis...finance major.
