Mariah Miller was named an assistant coach for women's basketball on August 15, 2023.

Miller played women’s basketball collegiately at Cleveland State University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2020 before serving as a graduate assistant coach for the women’s basketball team at the University of Akron where she earned her Master’s in Sports Science and Coaching in May, 2023. She was a two-time First Team All-Horizon league guard for the Vikings, leading the team in scoring as a junior and finished her career ranked 18th on Cleveland State’s all-time scoring list with 1,160 points. Miller played one season on professional basketball in Finland for the Vimpeli Veto Club before returning to Ohio to pursue her Master’s degree.
