Giana George was named women’s basketball director of operations on October 2, 2023.

George spent the previous four years as operations manager for ZTO Basketball Elite, a Chicago-based organization that develops basketball players of all skill levels. George led a team overseeing the organization of all camps while managing communications and social media and assisting in business affairs for the company.

George spent one season as the head manager for the Bradley University women’s basketball team (2014-15), leading the program’s social media outreach and video operations for the coaching staff.

She worked parts of three seasons (2014-16) in media relations with the WNBA’s Chicago Sky, writing stories and press releases while generating social media content and increasing awareness of the organization on and off the court.

George earned a Bachelor of Science degree in sports communication from Bradley in 2015.
