Keiran President joined the Chicago State Athletic Department as Director of Tennis in January of 2025. President came to Chicago State from McPherson College in Kansas, where he served as Director of Tennis Operations. 

President led the McPherson men’s and women’s teams to top 20 ITA rankings and a combined four Kansas Collegiate Athletic Association titles (KCAC) including three consecutive on the men’s side from 2022-24. He was named the 2023 KCAC Mens’ Coach of the Year. He’s coached two NAIA All-Americans and two ITA Doubles All-Americans. For his efforts as an assistant coach, he was named ITA Central Region Assistant Coach of the Year in 2020-21. 

A dual sport athlete at Ottawa College where he played tennis and was a member of the track and field team, he also served as the interim head coach of the William Woods tennis teams in 2019 where he was serving as a graduate assistant while completing his Master’s in Business Administration. 

A native of Saint Lucia, President is also a member of the Saint Lucian national tennis team and has spent time as a tennis pro at Sandals Regency La Toc in St. Lucia and also a head camp counselor at Carmel Valley Tennis Camp in Caramel California.
