2012: Cougar Scholar Athlete…hit .282 with 37 hits and 24 RBI with a .420 slugging percentage.
 
2011 (at Eastern Arizona JC): Named team’s most influential player by a vote of players and coaches…hit .221 with a 1.000 fielding percentage…helped club tie a school record for single season wins.
 
2010 (at Waldorf College): Batted .386 in 14 games before suffering a season ending injury.
 
Prep: As a senior, named All-State Honorable Mention after hitting .426, slugging .529 and knocking in 20 runs…as a junior, hit .333 and slugged .500…member of the National Honor Society.
 
Personal: Played travel baseball for KFC Post 59 American Legion…Post 59 finished second in the region and ranked No. 8 in the nation in 2008 after winning the Arizona State Championship...son of David and Lynne O’Brien…education major.
