2014: Played in three games with two starts on the mound before suffering a season ending injury...medical redshirt.

2013: Played in 45 games with 42 starts (23 at designated hitter, 13 at pitcher and 12 at first base)…made 14 appearances as a pitcher…tied for the team lead in home runs (2)…had two multi-hit games...four multi-RBI games…three RBI at NJIT including a home run (May 3)…hit a home run at North Dakota (May 16)...second on the team in innings pitched (89.2) and strikeouts (49)…allowed one earned run in each of his complete games vs. Northern Colorado (Apr. 5) and NYIT (Apr. 20)…gave up no runs in five innings of relief at LaSalle (March 16)…struck out a season-high eight strikeouts at NJIT (May 3)…allowed two runs in 6.0 inning vs. Houston Baptist (May 10).

2012: Tied for the team lead in wins with a 3-4 record in 56.1 innings with a 6.87 ERA…notched a team-high 39 strikeouts.
 
2011: Recorded a 8.62 ERA, 2-7 record over 55.1 innings with a team-high 39 strikeouts.
 
Prep: Named All-State and Midwest Player of the Year as a senior and junior at Frontier High School…named All-Area each of his final three years at Frontier...recorded an 11-0 record with a 0.81 ERA during his junior season at Frontier...posted 112 strikeouts, 44 hits, 40 runs batted in and eight home runs en route to capturing Midwest Conference and White County Player of the Year honors in 2009.

Personal: Played summer ball for the Danville Dans in 2012…son of Darrell and Cindy Sterrett…business management major.
