Biography
2009-10: Competed in 30 games and started three times while averaging 6.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per game… garnered Honorable Mention All-Great West Conference honors and was named to the conference’s All-Newcomer team at the end of the season… had seven double figure scoring games on the year… posted career highs of 20 points and nine rebounds in season finale against NJIT (3/6)… recorded back-to-back 18-point efforts against Great West opponents Houston Baptist (2/4) and Texas-Pan American (2/6)… went 8-of-10 from the free throw line versus UTPA… had four games with two assists and six games with two blocked shots… tallied 15 points and nine boards against Eastern Michigan (12/21) which helped her capture Great West Player of the Week honors on Dec. 30.
2008-09: Sat out due to NCAA transfer regulations.
Pre-CSU: Competed in track at Wisconsin during the 2007-08 school year… attended Green Bay, where she redshirted her freshman season in 2006-07.
Prep: Named a McDonald’s All-American in basketball… twice captured all-state honors and is the career scoring leader at Waseca High School in Waseca, Minn… recorded averages of 15 points and eight rebounds in her senior season… claimed three all-conference and all-area accolades… earned team Most Valuable Player honors in her final two prep seasons… also excelled in track and field at Waseca… won the high jump at the Nike Outdoor National in June 2006 with a Minnesota state record mark of 5-10.75 and captured All-America honors… won three state high jump titles and finished 12th in the triple jump at the 2006 Minnesota Class AA state finals as a senior… won the high jump at the Caribbean Scholastic Invitational in San Juan, Puerto Rico as a member of the National Scholastic Sports Foundation team.
