MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Chicago State fell to Middle Tennessee 4-0 on Monday. Middle Tennessee secured the doubles point after winning matches on courts No. 2 and No. 3, and clinched the overall victory with three singles wins.

Karolina Skowronska 6-1 at No. 2 doubles. Zenn Lim and Lena Peyer followed with a 6-1 win over
Danina Hughes and
Nadjema Morille at No. 3 doubles. The match at No. 1 doubles between
Mackenzie King and
Camila Sanchez of the Cougars and Sara Conde and Zora Koenig of Middle Tennessee was left unfinished at 3-3.
In singles play, Middle Tennessee extended its lead with a straight-set victory by Sara Conde over King, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 3 singles. Sadbaroy Kholdarova added another point for Middle Tennessee by defeating Hughes 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 singles, while Lim completed the singles rounds with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Morille on court six. Matches at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 4 singles were left unfinished.
