LEXINGTON, Ky. — Chicago State University fell to Kentucky 6-0 on Saturday at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex. The match featured a doubles tie on court No. 2, but Kentucky secured the remaining points with victories in all other singles and doubles matches.
Kentucky secured the doubles point with wins at No. 3 doubles and No. 1 doubles. Ellie Myers and Donna Le Roux defeated
Danina Hughes and
Nadjema Morille, 6-1, at No. 3 doubles, followed by Reese Sager and Asuncion Jadue's 6-2 victory over
Camila Sanchez and
Karolina Skowronska at No. 1 doubles. The match at No. 2 doubles, featuring
Mackenzie King and
Nikita Liyanage against Marina Fuduric and Elena Molla, was left unfinished with a score of 5-1 in favor of Kentucky.
In singles, Reese Sager delivered a 6-0, 6-0 win over
