After falling in their season opener to Loyola-Chicago, 70-57, the Cougars face Doug Bruno's Blue Demons for the first time since 2015. DePaul enters ranked No. 19 in the Associated Press poll and fell in its season opener to No. 13 Texas A&M, 93-91.

- McBeast: In Saturday's loss, junior transfer Nadia Thorman-McKey (Evanston, IL/Evanston Township) powered the Cougars with 19 points while also pulling down five boards.
- Croatian Domination: Making her college basketball debut, freshman guard Ana Haklicka (Dubrovnik, Croatia/Touristic and Catering School ) scored 13 points, also adding four assists and seven rebounds.
