Chicago — The Chicago State Cougars women's basketball team kicks off the
Tiffany Sardin era with a home-court matchup against Loyola-Chicago. The Cougars and Ramblers tip-off at 1:00 p.m. at the Jones Convocation Center on Chicago State's campus.

The Cougars welcome back junior guard Kourtney Krane and sophomore guard
Aja Phoumiphat (Las Vega, Nev./Centennial) from last year's starting lineup. Krane poured in nearly 12 points per game while tacking on nearly two steals per game. Phoumiphat scored 6.2 points per contest, doled out nearly four assists and averaged a 1.4 steals per game. The Cougars led the Western Athletic Conference in steals during the 2019-20 season.
In her first year as head coach, Sardin also brings back sophomore guard
Precious Adediran (UK, London/Barking Abbey Sixth Form), while bringing in a gauntlet of freshman and transfers who will aim to provide the Cougars a fresh edge in for the 2020-21 season.
