Evansville, Ind. – Junior guard
Tyeshia Bowers (Flint, Mich./Southwestern) poured in a game-best 15 points as the Chicago State women's basketball team suffered a 76-42 loss at Evansville, Wednesday, Dec. 19 inside of the Meeks Family Fieldhouse.

Kourtney Crane (Peoria, Ill./Richwoods) and
Ines Mata Boix (Madrid, Spain/) trailed Bowers adding eight and six points respectively.
- Mata Boix led the game defensively with a game-high 12 rebounds, and blocked one shot.
- Crane dished a team-best four dimes, and stole two Purple Aces possessions.
Evansville
- A'Niah Newman led the home team with 14 points, trailed by Jada Poland and Lola Bracy's 10.
- On the boards Poland pulled down 9 boards, while Abby Feit collected seven and blocked two shots.
- The Purple Aces bench outscored CSU 36-to-9, while scoring 30 points off turnovers, compared to the Cougar's 17.
