SCOUTING CSU – Chicago State heads into Thursday's battle with Utah Valley sporting a season record of 0-16 and looks to gain its first win of the 2016-17. The Cougars closed out a conference-opening weekend road swing through the southwest last Saturday with a 100-63 defeat at defending WAC champion New Mexico State while receiving a pair of 20-point efforts from senior guard Cailin Nix (Martinsville, Ind./Martinsville) and sophomore guard/forward Kaylee Allen (Cincinnati, Ohio/Winton Woods).
