The $2.5 million Cougar Stadium gives the Cougars a true home for the first time. The ballpark features a FieldTurf artificial surface with a dirt mound and a crushed-brick warning track. Top of the line Musco makes the CSU Baseball Stadium one of the few collegiate baseball stadiums in the Midwest with lights and an artificial surface. A state-of-the art Daktronics scoreboard sits in left field while Daktronics also handled the sound system. A full press box provides space for visiting media. On top of the press box is a crow’s nest for filming. The stadium is located on the south side of campus with easy access to the Jones Convocation Center locker rooms. Fans looking for easiest access to the ballpark should enter Chicago State's campus from the 99th Street entrance.
