CSU Women’s Basketball Signs Four for 2017-18

CHICAGO – Chicago State University women's basketball has announced the signing of four freshmen - Alexa Blake (Columbus, Ohio), Tyeshia Bowers (Flint, Mich.), Tamara Olverson (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Niquera Scott (Zion, Ill.) - to the team beginning with the 2017-18 season.

"We're very excited about signing these four young ladies to the program. We felt that we addressed some very specific needs that were needed to look at heading into this upcoming season. We added two point guards that we're very excited about, we addressed our post issue and we also brought in a knockdown shooter. All four of these players are expected to help us out right away," said head coach Angela Jackson, who will enter her 15th season at the helm this fall.
