CHICAGO – Cailin Nix (Martinsville, Ind./Martinsville) has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Chicago State women's basketball program for the 2013-14 season.

Angela Jackson said. “She had an impressive career at Martinsville and is also an excellent student.”
Nix is a 5-9 shooting guard. As a senior at Martinsville High School, Nix was named to the
Hoosier Basketball Magazine's Fourth Team, Indiana Basketball Coaches Association Top 100 List, Indiana Basketball Coaches Association Senior All-State Honorable Mention team and Mid-State All Conference squad. She averaged 12.3 points and totaled 45 assists and 37 steals as a senior. Academically she was in the honors program. Nix also has three seasons of experience with Team Blaze Select.
Nix joins earlier signees Jessica Cerda (Streamwood, Ill./Streamwood) and Konner Harris (Sidney, Ohio/Sidney) in Chicago State's 2013-14 freshman class.
