Women's Track & Field Captures Four Top-10 Finishes at Wisconsin

Freshman Tosin Idowu and sophomore Neshia Robertson led CSU's 4x100-meter relay squad to a second place finish at the Wisconsin Twilight Invitational. Both runners also finished in the top 10 in the 100-meter dash with Idowu placing seventh and Robertson finishing eighth.
CHICAGO – Chicago State women’s track & field concluded its regular season outdoor schedule on a good note as it captured four top-10 finishes at the annual Wisconsin Twilight Invitational on May 8 in Madison, Wis.
The 4x100-meter relay team of freshmen Amber White (Locust Grove, Ga.) and Tosin Idowu (McDonough, Ga.), sophomore Neshia Robertson (South Holland, Ill.) and junior Jasmine Allen (Chicago, Ill.) placed second after finishing the race with a time of 52.22.
Idowu and Robertson later earned individual top-10 placings in the 100-meter dash for the Cougars. Idowu finished seventh in the event with a time of 13.00, while Robertson placed eighth at a time of 13.01.
Sophomore Essence Wisdom (Joliet, Ill.) claimed her third top-10 finish of the season in a throwing event as she finished 10th place in the shot put.
The Cougars travel to South Dakota this week for the second-annual Great West Conference Championships which begins this Thursday from Yankton at 12 p.m.
