CHICAGO – Chicago State women’s tennis has announced it will hold open tryouts for the upcoming 2010 season. The tryouts are open to all Chicago State female students that wish to be a part of the program.

In order to be eligible for participation, potential student-athletes must meet the following criteria:

1. Be a full-time student at Chicago State University with at least 12 credit hours during the spring 2010 semester
    
2. Registered and cleared with the NCAA Eligibility Clearinghouse

3. Registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center
    
4. Must have a cumulative 2.0 grade point average at CSU in order to participate in competition and practice
    
5. Have a physical from your physician prior to the start of tryouts
