Chicago State University currently sponsors 14 sports – seven men’s programs and seven women’s. It is the responsibility of the Director of Sports Information to disseminate information on all 14 of those sports to the media and public. 

Official Interview Policy 
All interviews with Chicago State University Athletics administration, coaching staff members, and/or Cougar student-athletes must be arranged via the Athletics Sports Information Office. Please contact the Sports Information Director. All interviews with student-athletes will be arranged around their academic class schedules and/or practice times.

Credential Requests (Men’s & Women’s Basketball Only)
All requests for media credentials and photography passes must be arranged via the Athletics Sports Information Office as early as possible by contacting the Sports Information Director. All credentials will be available for pickup at the Jones Convocation Center will call office at the main entrance to the building. Only legitimate requests will be granted. All Photographers must shoot from the baselines, and positions are at the judgment of the game’s officials and/or the Athletics Sports Information Office at all times.

Game Day Services (Men’s & Women’s Basketball Only)
Media Services: Chicago State University via the Athletics Sports Information Office uses computerized statistics. All working media will receive notes, halftime box score, and a final game box score, including play-by-play scoring.
Post-Game Interviews: Head coaches Tracy Dildy and Angela Jackson will be available approximately 10 minutes after each home game in the Media Press Room located in the lower level of the Jones Convocation Center. When requested, and if accommodating, visiting head coaches will be made available as well following Coach Dildy and/or Coach Jackson. All Interviews with requested student-athletes will take place in the Media Press Room approximately 10-15 minutes after each home game.
Media Press Room: A media press room is located in the lower level of the Jones Convocation Center. Reporters may also work from press row after the game.
Telephones: A limited number of telephones are available in the media work room.
Faxing: The Chicago State University Athletics Sports Information Office will provide faxing of the final game box score to media outlets of opposing teams. Please contact director of sports information with any special requests.
Visiting Radio: Stations wishing to broadcast games from the Jones Convocation Center must make arrangements via the Sports Information Office by contacting the assistant athletic director of sports information to inform the office of intended broadcast.

Publicity Photos/Logos
Media members may request and obtain individual head-shot photographs of Chicago State Athletics administration, coaching staff members, and/or student-athletes; the Chicago State University Athletics logo; and the institution’s logo via electronic files. To do so, please contact the sports information director.

The official Internet website for Chicago State Athletics re-launched an all new re-designed website on April 14, 2008. Internet Consulting Services, Inc. of Syracuse, New York, re-designed the site. The site is maintained daily by the director of sports information. The new site contains information on each of the 14 intercollegiate sports programs at Chicago State University, including complete team rosters; schedules, results, and game summaries; team and individual statistics; coaching staff information; administrative staff information; and other important Chicago State University Athletics information.
