CHICAGO – Chicago State University (CSU) baseball announces today that it will host three days of open tryouts for the 2010-11 school year beginning Sept. 7 at Brooks Memorial Field on the campus of Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep High School, located on 250 East 111th Street on the city's south side.
The tryouts are open to all Chicago State male students who wish to be a part of the Cougars’ baseball program. All interested participants must have proof of a current physical, proof of NCAA Eligibility Clearinghouse registration in order to participate in team tryouts.
In addition, all participants must bring the following baseball gear (hat, baseball pants, t-shirt or jersey with sleeves, cleats, glove, aluminum bat) when attending each tryout session.

Tuesday, Sept. 7 – 2-5 p.m.
