Cougars Close Out Regular Season Slate at Wisconsin Twilight

Josh Campbell recorded a 10th-place finish in the long jump at the Wisconsin Twilight Invitational
CHICAGO – Chicago State men’s track & field closed out the regular season portion of its outdoor schedule at the Wisconsin Twilight Invitational in Madison, Wis., on May 8.
Junior Josh Campbell (Cartersville, Ga.) recorded a 10th-place finish in the long jump with leap of 20-6.25 to pace the Cougars in the field events.
Senior Arturs Bareikis (Oak Forest, Ill.) and freshman Matthew Jordan (Mogadore, Ohio) recorded PR times of 15:44.33 and 15:51.91, respectively in the 5,000-meter run. Junior Michael Chew (Klang, Selangor, Malaysia) also recorded a personal-best time of 19:41 in the race.
CSU travels to Yankton, S.D., to compete in the second-annual Great West Conference Championships, hosted by South Dakota. The first day of competition begins Thursday at 12 p.m.
