Women's Tennis Drops 6-1 Decision at Drake

Juan Rosalina Tejoprayitno recorded a win at No. 3 singles

CHICAGO – Sophomore Juan Rosalina Tejoprayitno captured Chicago State’s lone victory in its 6-1 loss to host Drake on Feb. 28 at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

 

The Cougars saw their record drop to 2-3 on the year, while the Bulldogs improved to 5-6.

 

Juan Rosalina posted a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Ali Patterson in the No. 3 singles contest to improve her singles record to 3-2 this season and 2-0 at the No. 3 position.

 

Senior Golda Rubina saw her 18-match winning streak dating back to last season snapped after she fell to DU’s Jessica Aguilera by identical 6-4 scores at No. 4 singles

 

CSU returns to action Saturday with a road contest in Carbondale, Ill., against its third consecutive Missouri Valley Conference opponent in Southern Illinois.
