Chicago State Ushers in Homecoming 2010 Festivities This Week

CHICAGO – Chicago State University enters into its annual homecoming festivities this week with many activities for current students and alumni that includes a pair of Great West Conference basketball doubleheaders. The theme for this year's homecoming is "Remember The Time."
The Cougars will host Houston Baptist on Thursday night at the Emil and Patricia Jones Convocation Center with the women playing at 5 p.m., followed by the men at 7:30 p.m.
On Friday night, the annual Green and White basketball game pits a team of CSU alumni against a team of current CSU students as both teams will battle at the Jones Convocation Center with a start time of 7 p.m. There will also be a food and entertainment portion to the evening that begins at 6 p.m.
CSU basketball is back in action on Saturday as it welcomes Texas-Pan American to the Jones Convocation Center. The women will tip-off at 2 p.m., as part of the annual Women's Basketball Coaches Assocation (WBCA) Pink Zone game which brings awareness about breast cancer.
Before the Cougar men's team faces UTPA at 4:30 p.m., CSU President Wayne D. Watson will hold a President's Alumni Reception in the skybox of the Jones Convocation Center from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
