Men's Cross Country Competes at NCAA Midwest Regional

Freshman Matthew Jordan recorded a season-best time of 34:59.3 at the NCAA Midwest Regional meet
CHICAGO – Chicago State cross country finished its 2009 season Saturday morning by having a pair of runners compete in the men’s 10K race at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships in Springfield, Mo.
Freshman Matthew Jordan (Mogadore, Ohio) finished 134th in the meet with a season-best time of 34:59.3, while senior Arturs Bareikis (Oak Forest, Ill.) recorded a season-best time of his own as he crossed the finish line at a time of 35:34.5.
Oklahoma State captured the team title and advanced to the NCAA Championship Meet, while Hassan Mean won the individual title after recording a time of 30:21.9.
