Freshman Matthew Jordan (Mogadore, Ohio) also notched a career-best PR time of 27:32 in just his second collegiate competition with the Cougars.
Also setting career-high PR times were senior Anthony Davis (Gurnee, Ill.), junior Daniel Fleming (South Holland, Ill.) and sophomore Uri Kuyoro (Harvey, Ill.), while senior Joseph Leyendecker (Richton Park, Ill.) produced a season-best PR mark in the meet.
The Cougars are back in action on Oct. 16 as they travel to downstate Peoria to compete in their final regular-season meet in the annual Bradley Cross Country Classic at Detweiler Park with a start time of 4:15 p.m.
