CHICAGO – Chicago State acting head baseball coach Mike Caston has announced that the Cougars will hold open tryouts for the 2009 season starting this week which will be held at Brooks Memorial Field on the campus of Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep High School, located on 250 East 111th Street.
The dates for the tryouts are this Friday, Sept. 5 at 5 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 6 at 10 a.m.; Monday, Sept. 8 at 2 p.m.; and Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 2 p.m.
The tryouts are open to all CSU male students that wish to be a part of the Cougars' baseball program. All interested participants must bring baseball attire in order to try out for the team (i.e. cleats, glove, bat, pants, etc.).
